SKILLED Field Shadow Program - Francis Howell North High School
On select S. M. Wilson projects, the Develop phase of the SKILLED program offers high school juniors and seniors, aged 17 or older, an opportunity for a summer shadow program.
Students will be exposed to firsthand, on-site project dynamics and project coordination necessary to construct a community-focused facility. The shadow program (up to 50 hours) offers students interested in construction careers or the skilled trades an opportunity to shadow the project being constructed within their own school district.
The SKILLED Shadow Program consists of 50 shadow hours (over a maximum of 6 weeks) along with weekly written reports and a ten-minute presentation at the end of the program. Upon completion of the Program, students will receive a certificate of completion along with a scholarship of $1,000 to be paid in a lump sum directly to the student.
