Pre-Construction Estimator

An Estimator is responsible for all aspects of the bidding process. Working with the bid team, the Estimator will perform the necessary take-off of quantities, price the work, garner participation from the subcontractor community, put together the estimate on bid day and submit that bid to the owner. The Estimator estimates large and complex work. This would include providing complete conceptual and final estimating input on complex construction management work or complete total bid price for general contracting work. Heavy involvement with owners, architects/engineers and contractors is required to resolve technical matters during negotiation and contract execution.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business or closely related field
• 2+ years estimating experience
• Construction experience preferred
